Oregon Action Fund...

Research and Leadership Development
Oregon Action Fund supports most of the research prepared and published by Oregon Action. Oregon Action Fund also supports the training and development of grassroots leaders.

Voter Registration
The Voter Expansion Project (VEP) is a loose network of the progressive, non-partisan, nonprofit groups in Oregon engaged in voter registration. The project provides opportunities for training, technical assistance, funding, information-sharing, and cooperation among the participating groups to expand and enhance our voter registration, education and get-out-the-vote efforts among traditionally disenfranchised voters.

We trained an advanced team of 100 community leaders who lead a massive volunteer voter mobilization effort. Over 44,000 people were registered to vote in 2004. In 2006, we focused on intense leadership development throughout the electoral process.

Fair Share Research & Education Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1981 as a supporting organization of Oregon Fair Share. When Oregon Fair Share closed in 1997, FSRE affiliated with Oregon Action, supporting its work, which carries on the tradition of chapter-based, multi-issue grassroots organizing in Oregon.

Fair Share Research and Education Fund does business as the Oregon Action Fund, a name that more explicitly demonstrates the link between the Fund and Oregon Action.
