Become a Member of Oregon Action
Oregon Action's power is based on our members. We have members across the state
who not only support us financially, but also respond to requests to make phone
calls, write letters and take action to win on the issues we work on. We
are proud that 75% of our funding comes directly from our members — not
only demonstraing the depth of support for our work, but also freeing us to
choose issues based on our membership's needs rather than feeling pressured
to follow trends in foundation priorities.
Membership in Oregon Action is not tax-deductible because the majority of
our work includes lobbying on the issues that matter to our members.
How to Join Oregon Action
- Come to a meeting or event.
- Send a check with your contact information to one
of our offices. If you wish, you can download a form to
send in.
- Join through PayPal
Political Contribution Tax Credit
Contributions to Oregon Action PAC qualify for the Oregon Political Contribution
tax credit. Contributions up to $50 for an individual or $100 for couples
filing jointly can be credited on your state income tax, increasing your
refund or decreasing your payment by that amount.

Tax Deductible Contributions
Oregon Action membership and contributions are not tax-deductible. If you wish
to make a deductible contribution, you may wish to consider supporting the
Fair Share Research and Education Fund. FSRE is a supporting organization
of Oregon Action and supports our research and grassroots organinzing efforts.
